Our competitors and the artisan of this pitcher call it Chianti or Uva Nera, but we call it Uva Toscana. It is the same pitcher.

Made in Montelupo Fiorentino, located in the Tuscany region in Italy. Montelupo Fiorentino is also famous for Italian Ceramics and Majolica. A .75 Liter (24 oz., approx. 3/4 of a quart) hand made hand painted authentic Uva Toscana Italian Ceramic Wine Pitcher #1.  "Vino" which means "wine" is written on the pitcher.  Measures 6 1/2 in. tall.
